Review: Looking Back at the Sixth Step on the Trail

Think about Five People You Know who you Can invite to join you on the trail. Write their names Here:

Now, look at your right hand. For each name above assign one name to each finger on your hand. As you pray in a moment look to each finger and pray for the person that finger represents. When that person becomes a fellow traveler on the trail replace them on the finger with a new name you can be praying for.

Write a few thoughts here about the person that invited you to join the trail and how that experience took place.

Some Simple Trail Formulas

Here are some Scripture plans and other ways you can use to share the Jesus Story with people and how they can become a follower of Jesus.

These are usually available in a number of formats including handouts (tracts) and online web pages.

Roman’s Road

In your Bible mark the following verses. They offer a progression of steps toward becoming a follower of Jesus. Recognizing where we are without Jesus all the way to discovering how we can receive Jesus.

Four Spiritual Laws

Law One – God Loves You and Has a Wonderful Plan for Your Life.

Law Three – Jesus Christ is God’s ONLY Provision for Man’s Sin

A Simple Prayer of Salvation:

“Dear God I know I’m a sinner, I know I am not where I want to be, and I want your forgiveness! I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins. Please wash me clean from all sin. come into my life Jesus to be my Lord and Savior.

Amen!”

MEET DAVE "BIG D" BENTLEY - A MAN OF MANY HATS I wear a lot of hats in the course of my life. I wear the "husband hat" with my wife, Andie, whom I have been married to for 26 years. I wear the "daddy hat" with my children, Danielle and David, and their spouses, Micah and Tracie. I am privileged to don my "Papa hat" with my two gorgeous grand-daughters, Amaria and Jaydan, and my energetic grandson, Jethro. In December of last year my wife and I accepted the call to serve in Wallingford, Vermont. In addition to this variety of caps, I am a student, attending Liberty University to receive a Masters in Teaching in Elementary Education as well as secondary Language Arts. My hobbies tend to revolve around my family, so they include, camping, traveling, playing board games, and spending time with them.
