PAPA DAVE – A MAN OF MANY HATS

I wear a lot of hats: Husband, Father, Papa, Pastor, Teacher, Writer, Singer, Chef, Dishwasher, just to list a few.  My life is a white-water rafting adventure on a miraculous journey, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.  It’s got some challenges but far more rewards.

For over 35 years, I have been married to my best friend, Andie, and we have two children and six grandchildren.  We are both involved in the area of education. I work with Riverside Middle School in Springfield, Vermont, as the Special Education Case Manager. In addition, I am the professor of English and director of the Writing Center at Northeastern Baptist College in Bennington, Vermont. Recently, my wife and I have begun consulting with educators by offering professional development opportunities to school faculty and staff.

I have been involved in various forms of church ministry for nearly four decades in several different locations.  I serve as the teaching pastor of First Baptist Church in Wallingford, Vermont, the state’s oldest Baptist church. My hobbies are as varied as my hats. Camping, photography, music, and card/board games are my favorite “downtime” activities.
